Michigan Ranks No. 1 in Adult Hospitals in Michigan and No. 8 in the Country for Neurology and Neurosurgery

The U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” list is out today, and the University of Michigan ranked No. 1 in adult hospitals in Michigan and No. 8 in the country for neurology and neurosurgery! The score card for neurology and neurosurgery contained three categories: outcomes and experience, key programs, services, and staff, and professional recognition. In professional recognition, which makes up 35.7% of the overall score, the University of Michigan Alzheimer’s Disease Center was recognized as a critical feature. Overall, Michigan Medicine is the No. 6 hospital in the country, the only Michigan hospital to make this year’s Honor Roll.
