Center Faculty & Junior Investigator Publish New Work on the Value of MRI in Evaluating MCI

The Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease recently published the work of Data & Statistical Core leader, Hiroko Dodge and Junior Investigator, Jiayu Zhou, among others. Their paper, ”The added value of diffusion MRI in evaluating mild cognitive impairment: a multicohort validation,” investigated MRI’s role in identifying healthy controls from those with mild cognitive impairment. Prior to this study, little work had been done on this topic. Specifically, the article proposes a novel feature-ranking method to build classification models between mild cognitive impairment and normal controls. Please join us in congratulating Jiayu and Hiroko on this great work!
