As we continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope that you are all staying safe and well. To continue to protect our many audiences, all of our Center’s in-person activities have been suspended for the foreseeable future. Further details about the status of, and future development of, specific activities are listed below.
Research visits
We are currently exploring alternative methods to conduct research visits, and will be in touch with you directly by phone with developments.
Community events
All of our community events are taking place virtually until further notice. This includes:
- “Why is brain donation important for dementia research?” by Matthew Perkins on May 20 from 12:00 – 1:00PM. Registration is required here. The virtual link will be provided to registrants the week of the event.
- “Alzheimer’s Disease: Current & Future Drug Treatments” by Dr. Judy Heidebrink on June 30 from 4:00 – 5:00PM. Registration is required here. The virtual link will be provided to registrants the week of the event.
Lewy Body Dementia Support Groups

All registered participants will receive an email with information on how to connect to the meetings the day before they take place.
Wellness Programs
Catching Your Breath is taking place virtually until further notice. Registration is required here. All registered participants will receive an email with information on how to connect to the group the day before they take place.
We will closely monitor updates from Governor Whitmer and Michigan Medicine, and be in touch with you directly when these circumstances might change.
In the meantime, we compiled resources that may help and support you during this COVID-19 pandemic. You can find our resource page here.
We hope you are all staying safe and well, and we look forward to reconvening, safely, in the future.
