The Mitten Minds Dementia Education Series is presented by the Wellness Initiative at the Michigan Alzheimer’s Disease Center for individuals who are newly diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment or are in the earlier stages of a dementia. Each session will be presented by an expert in the field of dementia care and research. The sessions will be facilitated by Ashley Miller, MPH. The goal of the series is to provide important information to individuals who have been recently diagnosed, provide a space for questions to be answered, and to connect to other resources and support services available. A loved-one may accompany you to these education sessions.
Registration for the spring 2021 program is now open. The spring program runs from Tuesday, March 9th to Tuesday, April 13th.
