The Institute of Gerontology’s Issues in Aging conference is one of the longest running, well-recognized professional conferences of its kind. The annual conference held every May since 1987 provides healthcare professionals with best practices and current research in the field in geriatrics and gerontology. The two-day event attracts speakers from around the country and attendees from throughout Michigan and surrounding states, plus it provides CEs.
The first day is devoted to Alzheimer’s and other dementia; the second day offers insights in maximizing physical and mental health in older adults. For more information contact Donna MacDonald at 313-664-2605 or donnamacdonald@wayne.edu.
