Lunch and Learn in Detroit

The Healthier Black Elders Center’s third Lunch and Learn will take place on May 10th from 9:30am – noon at the Heilmann Recreation Center in Detroit.This month will include demonstrations on making your technology accessible and internet safety. HBEC is commited to teaching Detroit’s seniors and their families about aging and health. Each FREE learning series includes two to three presentations by experts on various health topics, a brief overview of the HBEC and it’s resources, and a question-and-answer segment. Participants especially appreciate being able to interact with doctors, health educators and HBEC staff in a relaxed setting. FREE refreshments are served.
